"I see myself and others changing how we deal with relationships. We don’t ‘date’ we ‘see’ people, unconsciously creating a distance similar to how long distance relationships used to be when all you could do was send letters. Our time together is short, but we make it count because it is the only exchange we may have for a long time. In both people are trying to stay open for the opportunity for something better the true potential is kept at a distance. With ‘Move’, I wasn’t looking to judge or critique, I just wanted to soundtrack that feeling of longing for someone who is actually quite close, but feeling there is a distance that must be kept”
